The "Edible" Golf Course
One of the most charming and unique features of this course is its integration with the local landscape. Sir Nick Faldo insisted on preserving the natural environment, resulting in three hectares of active rice paddies right in the middle of the course.
The Resident Greenskeepers: Don’t be surprised if you see a family of water buffalo grazing peacefully by the 3rd and 4th fairways. They help maintain the paddies, which produce over 30 tons of rice a year for local charity. It is a scene of "Old Vietnam" that you won't find on any other championship course.
